Logic 'Everybody'

The long awaited album from Logic has finally hit the shelves and I for one am excited. The journey that Logic has been through has been one only a few would be able to live through from selling drugs to his family, shootings, racial abuse and living in a household full of people bringing him down and even so, he went through all of this shit he still came out on top and became an amazing artist.

All throughout this album he explains how people hated on him for 'acting black' when he has white skin and white people being racist towards him because he has a black dad and how he came on top of it and is now spreading the message of love, positivity and equality. This can be see in 'Take it Back', he ends the song with the chilling message off 'stop killing each other'. A lot of people hate on Logic for a number of different reason but in my opinion, if someone is making music that thousands or even millions of people listen too, spreading a positive message of loving yourself and treating people fairly then i'm gunna fuck with it.

The skits are something that I think makes this album come together. The way logic has used the idea of the meaning to life through every racial minority, every privileged position, every gender and seeing life through so many perspectives as possible to then mature to become something so understanding and greater to teach others that at the end of the day, we are all going to the same place whether you believe in heaven, hell, purgatory or reincarnation.

The album doesn't disappoint and I hugely recommend it.
